8 December 2016 AGM
Founded 1946, by Geoffrey Beard
The meeting started with the Society's AGM. The President welcomed members and read out the minutes of the previous AGM which were adopted. The Treasurer presented his report which was also adopted. The 2017 committee was approved with two outstanding posts available, hopefully members will come forward during the year to fill these posts.
The AGM was followed by a short interval when complimentary coffee and mince pies were served.
An evening of Black Country humour by David Bartley followed. David was born and bred in Tipton and still lives there. His stories and poems where witty and clever and his A to Z of Black Country places was inspired!
The President thanked David for starting the festive season off with a bang. She then wished members a very merry Christmas and a happy 2017.Type your paragraph here.
